Terms & Conditions

Payment:
All prices are USD ($) and before the required tax in Costa Rica (13%VAT). All work by REY Design requires payment beforehand, with no exceptions. Payments are collected by PayPal, major credit cards, and local bank transfers (Costa Rica). *Current online credit card processing is by Tilopay (a third-party company). We accept Bitcoin (Contact support to learn more).

Cancelations:
You can cancel any monthly subscription/plan. Website Subscriptions require a six-month minimum to qualify for the buyout. Once the buyout (see below) is confirmed, you own the rights to your website, and the subscription will automatically be canceled. Other subscriptions/plans do not have any requirements or penalties for canceling. We encourage a two-week notice so we can adjust any current campaigns if you wish to cancel or change. If payment failure occurs, your subscription/plan will become suspended until payment is confirmed, and all work will be stopped until then. If at any moment you have a pending balance with REY Design, we will not continue with any current or new projects until the balance is up to date.

Refunds:
You have 48 hours to claim a refund if you wish not to move forward working with REY Design. After 48 hours, there are no refunds, as your project has now been processed. Any payment will be lost. If you are currently in any of our subscriptions and wish to cancel after your due date, your subscription will continue and end automatically at the next bill period. Website subscriptions cannot be canceled before the first six months to qualify for the buyout (see below).

Website Requirements:
REY Design will provide you with a PDF of website requirements upon payment confirmation. Basic information about your business, such as contact, location, primary services, and product list and descriptions. The company slogan and about/mission statement. Plus, content including text and images to use on the website. For more information about requirements, please refer to the PDF provided by REY Design. Website work cannot begin without this requirement, and if the customer doesn’t fulfill these requirements before three months, your work will be put on hold until a later date.

Website Turnaround:
Websites delivery time range from two weeks to three months, depending on the customers’ ability to provide REY Design with the content to build the website. Every website is different and more complex than others, which is why our turnaround ranges from two weeks to three months, but on average, with all the content needed, we have had quicker success, closer to one month. Understand that completing your website doesn’t mean tomorrow you’ll be placed first on popular search engines such as Google, Yahoo!, and Bing, nor will you receive organic visitors, as it’s a process that depends on competition.

Design Turnaround:
Design work depends on the size of the project and the current workload. You will be notified beforehand if we are backed up on designs, but the typical turnaround is between 7 to 14 days. The customer must check all graphics before being sent to print. Once approved, REY Design is not responsible for any spelling or misprints.

Important Information:
Website subscriptions are charged monthly. Upon payment failure, your website will be suspended until payment is confirmed, and Websites can be suspended for two months before the contract becomes terminated. At this point, you lose all information created by REY Design. Websites built in our subscription plans are a partnership between you (the customer) and REY Design; buyouts are available after six months. Buyouts are as follows: Standard $500+tax | Premium & Business $1,000+tax. Upon the buyout, you will have all the accesses created by REY Design, such as domain, hosting, Cpanel, and access to the website’s backend. Individuals or companies cannot manage and host your website until the buyout is completed. REY Design is the sole management firm for your website.

Website subscriptions include everything your website needs for a simple monthly fee, such as a “.com” domain, shared hosting, website security, support, and website maintenance. Add-ons like E-commerce for online sales, tour booking software, and other premium features are available for their respectful additional price. All our websites are custom-built to specifications provided by the customer, with a few limitations on builders and programs because of subscription privileges. Website delivery time ranges from two weeks to three months*. If you have any further questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.

What’s a Buyout:
The buyout is a way for the customer to completely control the website built by REY Design and choose to do what they please. Buyouts are only available after the sixth month, and prices depend on the current subscription. The buyouts were designed to cover all initial costs that go into creating a website, including and not limited to design, setup fees, labor, and any expenses that go into transferring domains, hosting, etc. Once you choose the buyout and confirm payment, you can stay with the hosting package initially included in your website build (prices vary depending on website size) or migrate your website to another hosting/server provider.

Subscription Limitations:
Websites must be built within the hosting server provided by REY Design which we include our SSL certificate to ensure safe browsing for visitors. The domain included with your subscription can be used anytime; if not used, no additional credit will be awarded. Domains purchased outside REY Design can be pointed to our server at no extra cost. We can provide you with the correct name servers if needed or if you provided access, we can do this for you if you need help with how to do so.

Payment & Contract:
Payments can be set up monthly, quarterly, and annually. We encourage using our automatic recurring billing feature, available for most credit cards, to ensure you get all the payments and keep your information online. We accept major credit cards, PayPal, and local bank transfers (Costa Rica). Our subscriptions are contract-free, regardless, though, upon payment failure, your website will be suspended until payment is confirmed. Websites can be suspended for two months before the contract becomes terminated. At this point, you lose all information created by REY Design. Subscriptions with a payment failure of seven days will cause the website to be taken offline until payment is confirmed. Contract-free subscriptions require a minimum of 6 months from sign-up date to qualify for the buyout of the subscription. At this moment, you can pay the buyout amount and receive all the information to manage your website on your own. If the 6 month term is not met, nor the buyout price paid you will loose all rights to your website!

Important Information:
Website packages are a one-time payment, and payment must be confirmed before any work begins. With your purchase, we include a domain (.com), shared hosting, and website security (SSL) for one year. To maintain your website live, the annual fee is $160+tax (price may vary depending on services and add-ons you have with REY Design). REY Design has added three months of premium support and management with purchasing any website package, and once the term is finished, you can sign up from our management page.

REY Design will include a master file of our designs, colors, and access codes used to build your website. You are free to provide access to any individual or company to manage your website. Once we provide entry, REY Design is not responsible for any damaged or lost content. We will provide the cost to recover your content if recovery is possible. Domain or website transfers to a new service provider have charges that REY Design doesn’t include, and the customer will make the payment before transfers begin.

Website package add-ons are available for an additional cost and can be found on our Add-on page. Some add-ons are not available for all websites. Finally, add-on prices range from one-time payments and monthly/annual subscriptions, and please be aware. Websites delivery time range from two weeks to three months*. Our packages are contract-free, though an annual fee of $160+tax includes your domain, hosting, and SSL security required to maintain your website online. If you wish to migrate your website from the REY Design server please contact support to help provide the information you need.

Important Information:
Online tour booking software requires a demo meeting to see if your business meets the requirements. Please request a demo above; a representative will schedule the appointment at your convenience. Demo meetings are available in English and Spanish. Payouts are available in the Costa Rica area with local banks. PeekPro requires companies to have at least one year of operations and must be able to confirm revenue/volume of sales of about 300k per year. REY Design and BookyBee are official resellers of the online booking software from PeekPro. And only through our website can you gain our promotion price for Costa Rica. All payments, subscriptions, terms, and conditions will be between the customer and PeekPro.

Important Information:
The digital menu is currently only available in Jaco, Costa Rica. If you are outside Jaco and interested, don’t hesitate to contact us, and we’d happily set you up on another domain. Once payment is confirmed, you will be asked to fill out a pdf form with the information needed and provide us with your menu in a digital format (pdf). Once all information is collected, we will start the build and provide the finished product within 7 days.

Important Information:
Web Hosting plans are all shared hosting accounts with individual quotas, bandwidth, and Cpanel access. REY Design subscriptions include web hosting at no extra cost, and website packages include a dedicated plan for 1 year from purchase. REY Design is an authorized reseller of the servers, and all payments will be between the customer and REY Design. Server access is not permitted and is outside of REY Design’s access. Any downtime from servers is not the responsibility of REY Design; unless noted otherwise, there will be no refunds.

Important Information:
Websites built by REY Design automatically qualify for our management plans, and Websites built elsewhere must be first analyzed and quoted. REY Design’s hourly rate is $30/hour for work outside our management plans. All payments must be confirmed before any work proceeds, and if the payment fails, all work will be suspended until payment confirmation. All work orders go into the schedule as requested, and depending on the workload before your order will determine when your request is completed. REY Design is open to creating your business a custom management plan if your requirements are not met with our pre-made plans. Don’t hesitate to contact us to set up a meeting.

Important Information:
Upon payment confirmation, you will receive an email with the following steps to begin your SEO plan. Other budgets are available, and we encourage a custom SEO plan tailored to your business requirements and market online. Understand that web SEO results are not immediate and take time to reach the desired ranking, especially if your business market has a high competition rating. If you choose to stop with the SEO plans, all our work will not be lost, yours forever. If your looking for immediate results, we recommend checking out our PPC campaigns.

Important Information:
Upon payment confirmation, you will receive an email with the following steps to begin your PPC (pay-per-click) campaign. PPC campaigns require a minimum of a three-month contract. Our quotes include your marketing budget plus our percentage for the management. Ask about our package deals with web SEO and PPC to get the best results for your business. We recommend checking out our SEO plans if you are looking for long-lasting results.

Important Information:
Photo sessions are only available in Costa Rica, and plans will not be discounted if outside of the country. Photo sessions allow us to create content (photo & video) to continue posting new content. Included paid, the project manager controls advertisements. Please let your project manager know if you wish to add a budget for more paid advertisements. Social media outlets currently available in REY Design social media marketing are as follows: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, & YouTube. Other outlets can be requested as needed. The customer must provide content to start campaigns.

Important Information:
REY Design is an official reseller of NFC business cards from V1CE; all orders will be processed externally from REY Design. The client must complete the registration, customization, and shipping details to receive the business card. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

$100 Discount for those who have purchased either a subscription or package from REY Design. Company branding includes all the original design files (PSD, AI, EPS, PDF, PNG, etc.) 3-5 Revisions are included for artwork. If more revisions are required, they will be charged an additional per hour at REY Design’s current hourly wage*.
